Hello

I’ve always believed in paying attention to what went on (and in my body). I made my own oils and scrubs, and even earned a certificate in natural skincare formulation. I wasn’t always perfect (yes, I may over overindulged in my “party-stage” youth), but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t interested in how the mind, stress, and hormones shape how we feel.

But after having my son at 40, everything changed. PCOS, adenomyosis, and postpartum recovery collided, and suddenly my body was speaking a language I didn’t recognize.

What I’ve learned is that healing isn’t a straight line. It’s cyclical, messy, and often surprising. A Measured Life is where I make sense of it all - the experiments, the shifts, and the slow rediscovery of myself.

Here’s the truth:

  • I love eating healthy…but I also love dessert.

  • I use clean beauty…but not every product is “perfect.”

  • I take vitamins…but I’m not living off protein shakes.

And that’s okay. Healing doesn’t have to look pure or extreme - it just has to feel real.

This space is where I share what’s helping me feel like myself again: the simple routines, clean swaps, foods, and rituals that support balance instead of burnout.

I’m not an expert - I’m a woman relearning herself after 40.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Haircare routines that rebuild confidence (and actually work)

  • Clean beauty that feels good - not complicated

  • Food and wellness habits that support hormone health

  • Honest reflections from the middle of healing

Because wellness isn’t a performance; it’s a practice. And I’m just here, doing the work, one measured step at a time.

Crafting a balanced life, together.
